One day. One pier. A full Azur Lane activation.
Artsolute Media Group designed, fabricated, and installed the YOSTAR Azur Lane event activation at Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica, California, for the one-day event on August 15, 2026.
The Brief
YOSTAR brought Azur Lane to the Santa Monica Pier for a one-day event activation on August 15, 2026. The goal: turn a public landmark into a full Azur Lane experience for fans. Not a convention hall, not a show floor. A working pier in the middle of a public tourist destination. Artsolute Media Group (AMG) was brought in to design, fabricate, and install the entire activation. From structure and graphics to the final reveal, at one of California's most visible public venues. Watch for: how a public venue changes the build plan compared to a show floor.
The Design
Every element was designed in-house by AMG. The structure, the graphics, the layout of the space, all resolved as detailed renders before anything was built. The design had to work in an outdoor public setting. Ocean air, open sight lines, foot traffic coming from every direction. Colors and artwork had to pop against the pier's wood and sky, not disappear into them. Watch for: the concept renders showing the vision before fabrication began.
The Fabrication
Then the build. AMG fabricated every structure and graphic in its own shop: frames, panels, large-format graphics, wrapped surfaces. No outsourcing. No handoffs between vendors. One team from design through production, which is how a one-day activation stays on a days-long schedule. Watch for: everything arriving at the pier ready to install.
The Installation
Installation happened on site in a tight window before opening day. Structure went up. Graphics were applied. The empty pier turned into a full activation under real working conditions: public location, ocean air, and a deadline that does not move. Watch for: the moment the empty pier turns into a full activation.
The Event Day
On August 15, 2026, the activation opened. The pier filled with the finished space: character standees, wrapped cars, flags, booths, umbrellas, and merchandise displays, all set against the Santa Monica Pier backdrop. One day, fully built, fully branded, ready for fans. Watch for: the reveal cut at the end of the installation video.
The Payoff
A one-day activation at a public landmark only works if everything lands at once: design, fabrication, and installation on schedule. AMG delivered all three, under one roof, end to end. Who builds event activations like this? Artsolute Media Group does it end to end: design, fabrication, and installation under one roof. Based in Los Angeles.
